Harry Shearer, bassist for the fabled Rock back Spinal Tap has filed a lawsuit within the Central District Court of California for $125,000,000 claiming Vivendi of "fraudulent accounting for revenues from music copyrights". While it does not take a genius to realize that from 1989 through 2006 that total income from soundtrack music sales for the four creators is worth far more than the $98 in tital he was paid, the upcoming jury trial will be quite enlightening about how Vivendi handles their accounting and paying royalties to their clients.
